Organisation
Isfol is organised into two departments (Department of Labour Market and Social Policies and Departmern of Training Systems) a series of transversal services. Currently the Institute has a staff of 600 members with a wide range of professional experience, recruited through national competition procedures.
Overall authority for ISFOL rests with the Board and the President.
The President is the Institute's legal representative.
The Board provides a cross-section of expertise on all issues relevant to vocational education and training (VET) in Italy, and acts as the statutory advisory organ of the Italian Ministry of Labour.
The Board's tasks include adopting the annual research work programme and the Institute's budget, and making recommendations on the promotion and development of VET.
